Week #3 recap for Sept. 12-19
• At Adrian's Irish Hills Intercollegiate Invitational Sept. 15-16, Hope posted a first-place score of 565 over the two-day event to win by 37 strokes. Josh Gibson (Jr., Grandville, Mich.) won medalist honors with a 15-under score of 61-68--129 to set a program record for lowest 18-hole score. Adrian's A team placed fourth in the seven-team event, followed by Albion (5th) and Calvin (6th).
• All eight MIAA teams teed up for the first MIAA Jamboree Sept. 19 at Lenawee Country Club, hosted by Adrian. Hope and Calvin tied for the team lead with seven-over 291s with host Adrian placing third with a 298. Albion's Justin Kapke (Fr., Canton, Mich.) won medalist honors with a two-under 69.
