• Six MIAA teams were in the 16-team field at the Lou Collins Memorial Tournament Sept. 1-2. Hope finished second overall (584), with Kade Hoeksema (Sr., Byron Center, Mich.) and Daniel Settecerri (So., Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) part of a four-player tie for second place with even-par 144s. Kalamazoo finished fifth overall, aided by a four-over 148 by Nick Ludka (Jr., Saginaw, Mich.). Trine claimed sixth place with a team score of 612, four strokes behind Kalamazoo. Other MIAA teams in the field were Albion (12th, 637), Olivet (14th, 651), and Alma (16th, 684).
• Adrian placed eighth at the Gatorade Collegiate Invitational in Dover, Ohio, improving their second round score by 24 strokes.
