2018 MIAA Year In Review - Men's Golf

Among the highlights from the 2017-18 season:

- Calvin captured the 2017 MIAA Championship with an eight-stroke margin over Hope after five rounds during the fall regular season. Rain halted the final round of the Fall Jamboree.

- Hope prevailed over the four-team field in the 2018 MIAA Spring NCAA Qualifier to earn the MIAA's automatic berth to the national tournament. There, the Flying Dutchmen matched last season's program and league record with a sixth-place finish. Calvin's Ben VanScoyk finished tied for 24th as an individual, while Hope's Josh Gibson placed 10th as the top MIAA finisher.

- Hope's Josh Gibson was named the NCAA Division III Player of the Year, an honor bestowed by the Golf Coaches Association of American and presented by golf legend Jack Nicklaus.
