NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the honorees for their All-Academic Team award July 19, with both Kalamazoo and Trine repeating as two of the nation's top men's golf programs academically.

Kalamazoo, the 2017 Academic National Champion by the GCAA, was one of eight teams this year to receive the President's Special Recognition for having a team GPA over 3.5 for the 2017-18 academic year. Trine was one of 34 NCAA Division III teams along with Kalamazoo to achieve All-Academic Team standards for having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the GPAs for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
