MIAA Men's Golf Week #4 Wrap-Up

With teams focused on MIAA competition, Wednesday's MIAA Jamboree was the lone event for member schools during week #4:

• Hope took first place for the third time in as many MIAA Jamborees, as the Flying Dutch out-shot second-place Kalamazoo by 10 strokes. Josh Gibson (So., Grandville, Mich.) continued his hot streak for the fall, carding a four-under 68 to win medalist honors by two strokes. Kalamazoo's David Smith (Sr., Highland, Mich.) took second with a two-under 70, while Calvin's Ben VanScoyk (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) and John Van Noord (Jr., Troy, Mich.) along with Hope's Ben Kramer (So., Spring Lake, Mich.) finished with even par 72s for a three-way tie for third place.

The fourth and final MIAA Jamboree is set for Monday, Sept. 26 at Watermark Country Club in Grand Rapids, Mich.
