MIAA Men's Golf Week #2 Wrap-Up

All eight MIAA teams faced off at the first MIAA Jamboree of the fall season Saturday, Sept. 10 at Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind. Hope led the field with an even-par 284 on the par-71 course to finish in front of Kalamazoo and Trine, which tied for second with four-over 288 scores. Calvin took fourth with a team score of 290.

Taking individual honors was Trine's Grant Brettnacher (Fr.,  Brookton, Ind.), who fired a two-under 69 to edge the field by one stroke. A three-way tie for second with one-under 70s included Hope's Winton Munch (Sr., Traverse City, Mich.) and Josh Gibson (So., Grandville, Mich.) along with Kalamazoo's Travis Veenhuis (So., Grand Blanc, Mich.).

The second MIAA Jamboree is slated for Tuesday, Sept. 13 at Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek, Mich.
