On Monday, the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Committee announced the 42-team, five-individual field for the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships May 16-19 at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
Hope, the automatic qualifier from the MIAA after this spring's four-team qualifying tournament, as well as Calvin's John Van Noord, will represent the MIAA at the national stage.
The field will be cut to the top 18 teams following 36 holes of competition.
Last season, Hope tied for 23rd place at the NCAA Championships in Rochester, N.Y.
Van Noord is the first individual to represent Calvin at the national championship, after averaging 72.69 strokes this season.
