Week #6 & 7 Wrap from Dec. 18 to Jan. 2
• Adrian earned three non-conference wins to surpass last season's win total and improve to 9-2 on the season. Included in the Bulldogs' victories were a 64-51 win over cross-town foe Siena Heights Dec. 28, where Justin Webster (Sr., F, Adrian, Mich.) posted game-hights of 19 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.
• Albion split their last four outings, which included a 71-61 win over Otterbein Dec. 29 - in that game, five Britons scored in double figures.
• Calvin split two contests in Spokane, Wash., last week; as notable as their 93-84 win over Puget Sound Dec. 29 was their contest against No. 7 Whitworth Dec. 30. The Knights owned a 32-31 halftime lead against the Pirates before Whitworth pulled away, 88-58.
• Hope ended the 2017 calendar year with a 3-1 finish, notching victories over St. Vincent Dec. 19, Mount Union Dec. 29, and John Carroll Dec. 30. Against John Carroll, the Flying Dutch handed the Blue Streaks their second loss of the season in a 104-94 victory.
• Kalamazoo split their final two games of 2017, defeating Lawrence Tech Dec. 20, 63-53. Jeremiah Vincent (Fr., G, Kalamazoo, Mich.) tallied 12 points to lead four Hornets in double figures.
