• Adrian tallied an 85-61 home win against Great Lakes Christian Dec. 15, led by a 19-point outing from Justin Webster (Sr., F, Adrian, Mich.). The victory was their fourth consecutive win in as many outings.
• It was a split week for Alma after a week away from action. The Scots defeated Wheaton Dec. 16, 87-82, thanks to 52.4 percent shooting from the field and a 22-point performance by reserve Preston Laketa (So., F, Concord, Mich.).
• Calvin needed overtime to get past Carthage Dec. 16, 79-75. Austin Bykerk (Jr., G, Jenison, Mich.) had team-highs of 19 points and nine rebounds to energize the Knights.
• Kalamazoo registered a 98-71 win on the road against Concordia (Ill.) Dec. 12, with Jeremiah Vincent (Fr., G, Kalamazoo, Mich.) scoring a team-best and career-high 17 points.
• Olivet went 2-1 last week, including a triple-overtime win against St. Mary's (Md.) Dec. 16 at the Cruzin Classic. In that contest, both Jalen Adams (Sr., G, Saginaw, Mich.) and Tracy Edmond (Jr., G, East Lansing, Mich.) poured in 38 points; Adams added 15 rebounds and five steals, while Edmond pressed for a triple-double with eight rebounds and nine assists.
