Harrison Blackledge, a senior forward on the Hope men's basketball team, was named the Great Lakes Region Player of the Year by D3hoops.com. Blackledge was one of eight players nationally to be named Region Player of the Year by the online publication.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Blackledge was the MIAA Player of the Year this season and was the lone Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association representative on the 15-player listing of first, second, and third-team all-region players.
