Albion defensive end Mitchell Arendsen was honored Monday for his efforts on the field last weekend as the sophomore was named to the D3football.com's National Team of the Week.

Arendsen collected three tackles for loss, all of them sacks, among his five total tackles in the Britons' season opener, a 59-6 win over Defiance Sept. 1. Arendsen's sacks total is the most in NCAA Division III through the first week of the season and helped Albion tie for first nationally with nine sacks in their season opener.
