Adrian's Jerron McGaw and Hope's offensive linemen garnered national honors Tuesday (Nov. 7) with their selection to the D3football.com National Team of the Week.
McGaw had career bests of 10 catches and 216 yards with two touchdowns in Adrian's 33-22 win at Olivet, knocking the Comets out of the MIAA title hunt. He hauled in a 73-yard catch-and-run from senior Clayton Uecker with six minutes and 28 seconds left in the first quarter to start the scoring.
Hope gained a season-high 460 yards on the ground in a win vs. Albion. The offensive line sprung three different ballcarriers for 100-yard games: Chris Leigh (175), Mason Opple (140), and Brandan Campbell (124).
