Olivet's Jerome Washington (Sr., RB, Albion, Mich.) gathered national honors Tuesday (Oct. 17) with his selection to the D3football.com National Team of the Week.
The national online publication selected Washintgon as the nation's top running back in NCAA Division III last week after he aided Olivet in their 47-26 win over Albion Oct. 14. Washington rushed 30 times for 265 yards and two touchdowns; none of his attempts went for negative yards during a game that featured copious amounts of rain. His touchdown rushes were for 52 and 14 yards and added a two-point conversion.
Washington's 265 yards of rushing is third-best in program history and 12th nationally this season.
