With the start of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play just around the corner for football, just one team was in action as six teams had their bye week.

• Adrian hosted UW-Stevens Point for homecoming weekend, but the Bulldogs came up short in a 44-19 setback to the Pointers Saturday, Sept. 24. Gage Smith (So., QB, Swartz Creek, Mich.f) threw for 220 yards, with 120 yards going to Darius Philon (So., WR, Winter Haven, Fla.). Defensively, Damon Fuller (Jr., DL, Redford, Mich.) led the Bulldogs with 10 tackles, including a sack.
