Among the highlights from the 2016 season:
- After posting an unblemished 6-0 record in MIAA play, Olivet was the outright MIAA champion after a 44-27 victory over Trine.
- Olivet represented the MIAA in the NCAA Tournament, falling to John Carroll in the First Round, 37-12.
