Week #8 Wrap for week of April 9-15
• Adrian finished their four-game sweep of Olivet with wins April 9 and 10, and after taking three of four from Calvin, the Bulldogs moved into No. 25 nationally in the NCBWA/D3baseball.com Top 25 poll. On the week, Jordan Williams (Fr., Westland, Mich.) went 2-0 with no earned runs in 14.2 innings of work.
• Kalamazoo won their series with Hope last week, notching three wins in four outings. In the Hornets' 7-6 victory over Hope April 10, Kalamazoo answered a one-run seventh by the Flying Dutchmen in the top of the inning with two runs in the bottom of the stanza on a two out-single from Zach Prystash (So., Northville, Mich.) to walk off with the win.
• Trine jumped up the MIAA ladder with a 4-0 week, posting doubleheader wins over Alma and Olivet. In the Thunder's wins over Olivet April 13, Colton Conn (Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio) went 5-for-7 with two RBI and a triple in the leadoff spot.
