Week #7 Wrap for week of April 2-8

• Adrian pushed their winning streak to seven with a 4-0 week in MIAA play. The Bulldogs wrapped their series sweep against Kalamazoo with two victories April 2 before a doubleheader sweep of Olivet April 8. In Adrian's game-two 10-inning 10-9 win over Olivet, the Bulldogs benefitted from seven extra-base hits, including two doubles from Jordan Torrento (Jr., Warren, Mich.).

• Alma improved to 6-4 in MIAA action with a 3-1 week, including a 7-0 shutout at Albion April 2. In that game, Dylan Dzendzel (So., Royal Oak, Mich.) threw all seven innings for the shutout while striking out 14 and scattering five hits.

• Calvin took the field for two against Albion last week, notching key MIAA wins to take hold of second place in the league standings. Ricky Padilla (Fr., Poway, Calif.) batted .857 (6-for-7) with a double, two RBI and two runs scored; he was also was perfect on seven chances at second base while helping turn a double play for the Knights.

• Hope was a two-time winner in a doubleheader sweep of Olivet April 2, including a 4-0 game-one victory. Max Gaishin (Fr., Stevensville, Mich.) scattered four hits over six innings to eark the win while striking out nine.
