Saint Mary's SAAC Sings Carols with Sisters of the Holy Cross

The Saint Mary's College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) flexed their vocal chords last week, visiting the retired Sisters of the Holy Cross to share the Christmas spirit and singing carols.

Over 70 Saint Mary's student-athletes and staff participated in the Advent-season caroling at the on-campus convent.

"Caroling for the sisters is always such a fun experience with all our fellow athletes," said Saint Mary's SAAC president Erin Maloney. "We love spreading cheer to the sisters and seeing how happy and joyful they are. It's a great way for all of us to get in the Christmas spirit!"

"Caroling is an awesome experience where athletes can get together to build community and enjoy the season through service, fellowship, and song," said Alyssa Chong, the Saint Mary's SAAC liason to the convent.

The caroling is one of a few activities Saint Mary's SAAC coordinates with the retired Sisters of the Holy Cross, including a spring talent show.
