This fall, members of Calvin's SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) will be hosting a Toys for Tots collection drive at Calvin home athletic events.  

SAAC members will collect new toys and donations with the goal of brightening the Christmas season for underprivileged children in the Grand Rapids area.

Donated toys should be new, and geared toward children and young adults ages 8-18. Sample donation ideas include sporting equipment, board games, card games, books, science kits, art kits, and gift cards.

At the conclusion of the toy drive, Calvin SAAC members will donate all toys collected to Toys for Tots. Fans who donate will receive a Calvin Knights decal sticker.

Fans who wish to donate toys can bring their donations to Calvin SAAC members who will be staffing a donation table at the following Calvin home athletic events:

Friday, Oct. 26, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. – ACHA Men's Hockey vs. Western Michigan 

Tuesday, Oct 30., 7:00 p.m. – Men's Soccer MIAA Semifinal

Wednesday Nov. 28, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. – Women's and Men's Basketball DH

Thursday Nov. 29, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Swimming and Diving Calvin Invite

Friday Nov. 30, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Swimming and Diving Calvin Invite

Saturday Dec. 8, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. – Women's Basketball vs. Trine

Calvin's SAAC is comprised of at least two representatives from each of Calvin's 22 intercollegiate teams and ACHA Ice Hockey. SAAC acts to promote community amongst our athletic teams, Calvin College and the West Michigan area.
