Against RV Oglethorpe Dec. 20, Buchanan tallied game-highs of 19 points, nine rebounds, and four assists to hand the Stormy Petrels' second loss of the season, a 64-46 win for No. 5 Hope. Buchanan then tallied a game-best 13 points to go with a team-high eight rebounds in Hope's 79-37 win over Birmingham Southern Dec. 21.
