The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) named Albion forward Domenique Sarnecky the league’s Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for matches through Oct. 4. 

Sarnecky, a junior from Canton, ended the week by scoring a hat trick in a 3-0 triumph over Adrian on Saturday. She tallied goals from a teammate’s crossing pass, corner kick and direct pass - all in the first half against the Bulldogs. Sarnecky finished two starts during the week with three goals, four shots on goal and five shot attempts following the victory and a 1-0 loss to Kalamazoo earlier in the week.
