Zac Nowicki of Calvin earned the Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Tuesday for meets through May 3.
Nowicki received track honors for the second time this spring. A native of Comstock Park, Nowicki clocked in with a career-best time of 9:08.20 in the 3,000m steeplechase Friday night at the Hillsdale Gina Relays. The time was a personal-best mark by nearly 17 seconds and vaulted him into 10th place on the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field performance list.
