McKenzie Diemer of Calvin earned Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Tuesday for meets through May 2.

Diemer, a senior from Caledonia, claimed track athlete honors by posting the fifth-best 3,000m steeplechase performance in the nation this season. She clocked a season-best time of 10:45.94 in the women's in the event last Friday night at the Hillsdale Gina Relays.
