Kadie Koolwick of Albion garnered Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women’s lacrosse Player of the Week honors on Monday for games through April 24.
Koolwick, a senior from Bloomfield Hills, claimed defensive honors after leading the Briton defense to a pair of conference victories. She earned 16 draw controls, recorded 12 ground balls and caused seven turnovers over the two games. Koolwick also contributed on the offensive end by scoring 10 points on seven goals and three assists. It marks Koolwick’s third weekly honor this season after earning recognition on April 18 and March 28.
