Zac Nowicki of Calvin earned Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Tuesday for meets through April 10.

Nowicki, a junior from Comstock Park, captured track athlete honors by winning the steeplechase title with a career-best time at the Millikin Big Blue Invitational last weekend. He led four Knights that finished among the top five across the finish line in a time of 9:25.68. Nowicki’s time places him No. 15 on the latest NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field performance list.
