Maicey Peterson of Albion earned Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Tuesday for meets through Feb. 7. 

Peterson, a junior from Clarkston, claimed field athlete honors after placing third in the pole vault at Anderson Invitational last weekend. She cleared the bar at 9-6.25 for the third-place vault. On the track, Peterson established school record time of 9.69 seconds in the 60m hurdles to finish third overall.
