Scott Campbell of Adrian earned Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Tuesday for meets through March 20.

Campbell, a junior from Petrolia, Ontario, claimed field athlete honors after winning a pair of field events at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational on Saturday. He won the javelin event with a throw of 166 feet on his first attempt, over nine feet ahead of second place. Campbell also claimed the top spot in the high jump, leaping 6-2.75 in his final attempt, the only competitor to clear the height.
