Ian Mikowski of Adrian earned the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Baseball Player of the Week awards on Monday for games through April 24.

Mikowski, a junior from Grand Rapids, claimed position player accolades after posting a double and scoring a run in each conference game last week. He hit .692 from the leadoff position on nine hits in 13 at-bats and added five walks to push his on-base percentage to .789 in league play. Mikowski hit four doubles as part of his nine knocks to produce a slugging percentage of 1.000 in MIAA action. He drove in seven runs and only struck out once in 13 at-bats in a 3-1 week against Albion.
