Clare Theisen of Saint Mary’s earned Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women’s lacrosse Player of the Week honors on Monday for games through March 13.

Theisen, a sophomore from Downers Grove, Ill., won offensive honors after scoring multiple goals in the Belles’ trio of contests last week. She scored four goals and added an assist in a 15-8 victory over Elms. Theisen concluded the week with 10 points on nine goals and an assist. She also recorded 10 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers and led the team with nine draw controls.
