Jordan Davis of Adrian earned the Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Tuesday for meets through April 17.

Davis, a sophomore from Ottawa Lake, won track athlete honors by placing among the top three in four events that included a trio of top-35 finishes nationally at the Don Kleinow Invitational last weekend. He ran the second leg of the Adrian 4x100m relay team that tied for first place, clocking in at 42.21 good for No. 30 nationally. Davis placed second in both hurdle events with personal best marks. His 110m hurdle finish of 14.82 ranked No. 18 in the country while his time of 54.97 in the 400m hurdles stands at No. 34 nationally. Davis ran the second leg for the 4x400m relay squad that finished third in a time of 3:25.56.
