Saint Mary’s defensive specialist McKenzie Todd garnered the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Volleyball Specialty Player of the Week Award on Monday for matches through Oct. 4.

Todd, a sophomore from Monroe, claimed the Specialty Player of the Week Award.  The Belles’ libero won Wheaton All-Tournament Team honors last weekend after leading all liberos at the tournament with 5.38 digs per set. Todd opened the week with a career high 24 digs in a 3-2 win over Adrian on Wednesday. Two days later she broke that newly established record by digging 26 attacks against No. 12 Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She completed the five-match week with 94 digs, eight service aces and four assists.
