Thirteen MIAA student-athletes competed in the first day of the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championship held in Waverly, Iowa. The day’s top two finishers were Lauren Strohbehn of Calvin becoming an All-American by placing 3rd in the 10,000m and Erin Herrmann of Hope placing 2nd in the prelims of the 3000m Steeplechase.
