Andrew Philipose of Calvin garnered the Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week Award from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) on Monday for meets through Oct. 18.

Philipose, a sophomore from Mount Prospect, Ill., placed 47th overall at the 8K course of the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wis. He crossed the finish line in a time of 25:26.

As the second Knight to cross the finish line, Philipose helped No. 34 Calvin place 11th overall with 291 points in a field of 45 squads at the UW-Oshkosh AAE Invitational.
