The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) tabbed Madelyn Smith of Calvin the Women’s Swimmer/Diver of the Week on Monday for meets through Nov. 22.

Smith, a freshman from Allegan, posted a personal best time to win the 500 Freestyle event in 5:24.45 in a dual meet against Wayne State on Friday. She also clocked a personal best mark of 1:02.90 in the 100 butterfly while touching the wall first for the Knights.
