INDIANAPOLIS - On Tuesday (Aug. 1) the NCAA announced Calvin Athletics' spring Special Olympics community effort as the winner of their July NCAA Division III Special Olympics Spotlight winner.

In a national poll, Calvin's assistance with Special Olympics of Michigan's Spring Games in May was selected as the top story for July. 

The NCAA Division III Special Olympics Spotlight Poll is a story-telling initiative located on ncaa.org/D3SpecialOlympics.  It features three new stories per month – each highlighting a Division III and Special Olympics joint activity or event.
