#D3MIAA Celebrates NCAA Division III Week - Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association

The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) will celebrate NCAA Division III Week beginning Monday, April 2 through Sunday, April 8.

Division III Week is a positive opportunity for all individuals associated with Division III to observe and celebrate the impact of athletics and of student-athletes on the campus and surrounding community. During the week, every Division III school and conference office is encouraged to conduct a type of outreach activity that falls into one of three categories: academic accomplishment; athletic experience; or leadership/community service/campus involvement.

Member institutions of the MIAA have several activities planned both on campus and online. Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) members from each institution are also involved in the planning and implementation of festivities all week.

All this week we will highlight our shared academic accomplishments, athletic experiences as well as our leadership in community service and campus involvement.

D3 Week Dodgeball Tournament for Charity - Calvin brother/sister teams will participate in a dodgeball tournament and the winning team will donate $500 to a charity of their choice

#ThankYouThursday - Calvin teams have been assigned individuals throughout campus to "thank." Teams will drop off thank you notes throughout the day, and post pictures with the thanked people on social media

Calvin Spirit Day and NCAA #StudentAthleteDay - The entire campus will be encouraged to wear Maroon and then come to the Baseball DH for tailgate and group photo
